Why does it make any sense if you ignore someone, your still allowed to talk to them? Make it so if you ignore someone, your not allowed to talk to them either.

leave it as it is, he can still remove you, then get the last word anyways, then add you straight back to ignore, this will do nothing apparently.

Or you could just, you know, not talk to them.

I think the thing that frustrates trolls the most is when they don't get a reaction. So you should just let people troll you knowing you are there and just ignore the text as it goes by, in fact just go to Kamadan American Dist 1 and put on local chat that will take care of the whispers for you.

I did always think it needed to be changed though...

^ This. Seriously, I still have people on my ignore list that start up old arguments as soon as they notice. These same people have been on my ignore list for the past two YEARS.

I actually once had to ignore a guy 3 times because he had 3 accounts an he was angry that we lost a match in RA. Spammed me over the course of 3 accounts as Ignored each. I didn't know basement mold was capable of doing such a thing let alone play gw...

Nah Ignoring is for the intelligent who figures there is no point in arguing with someone who will not listen to reason, nor will ever understand reason.

I like how all these people without spaces on their ignore list are convinced it must be purely the fault of others. I'm sure there are many players (like me) who've played plenty and doesn't have a single person on ignore.. lol. A little bit of introspection needed maybe?

Ignoring without the Ignore list is even more intelligent because it proves you Ignored them to the point you don't invest the time it takes (less then 5 seconds) to type their name in the ignore box.

^this, I have 1 person taking up my whole ignore list because he starts spamming me as soon I remove 1 of the accounts and I prefer to play without spam, Since I also talk to other ppl and loose track of their whisps

Been suggested tons of times before. Yes it is very annoying. Especially when you are trying to politely correct somebody and not insult them. For example, I've gotten "OMG you were such a noob monk" after losing an RA match. I tried to respond "umm I was the necro" but the guy had me ignored and continued to complain about my bad monking.

I have certain people who'll spam me with amazingly rude stuff (that I've actually had them banned for in the past, though sadly it's never permanent) the moment they realize I've taken them off their ignore list.
